Production

Ural Locomotives implements a full cycle of railway rolling stock creation – from development to production of finished products with subsequent warranty and service. Three main production facilities are organized at the plant site in the city of Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk region): freight locomotives, electric trains and trolleys. Automation, original engineering solutions and advanced technologies, including those unique to the Russian transport engineering industry, are widely used in production. The equipment fleet includes modern high-precision machines and machining centers with software control, as well as robotic welding complexes. All production specialists are carefully selected and certified, as well as regularly upgrade their skills at the expense of the company. To ensure an uninterrupted production process, the company has formed a cluster of domestic component suppliers.
